Speaking at a ceremony in Karachi, President Arif Alvi underlined the need to exploit alternative energy sources to produce low-cost electricity in the country. The President said the National Assembly was converted to solar energy about five years ago and he was now looking forward to solarising the Presidency. President Arif Alvi also welcomed investment in alternative sources of energy.
